On 4 October 2026, Gorillaz bring The Mountain Tour to Scotiabank Arena in Toronto. Imagined by Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett, the virtual quartet 2D, Murdoc, Noodle and Russel takes shape on stage through a live band and large-scale visuals. The set roams between pop, hip-hop, alternative rock, dub and electronics, weaving tracks that lean on groove and hooks while keeping a strong visual narrative. From early cuts to recent material, the show plays with contrasts: dense rhythms, melodic synth lines and guest voices embedded in the mix.
Little Simz joins the lineup with a London rap that blends sharp storytelling, soul accents and touches of grime. Her flow moves from confessional to confrontational without losing precision, carried by beats that shift between minimal pulse and fuller arrangements. Tracks from Grey Area, Sometimes I Might Be Introvert or No Thank You feed a live format that favors clarity, tempo changes and a tight connection with the crowd.
Deltron 3030 completes the night with the alliance of Dan the Automator, Del the Funky Homosapien and Kid Koala. Their futurist rap frames Del’s narrative in cinematic production and detailed scratching, pushing a sci‑fi timeline on stage through layered textures and hard-cut rhythms. Between the dystopian atmosphere of their debut and the broader orchestrations of Event 2, the trio adapts its concept to a collective live energy.
