On 13 April 2026 INJI will perform at Melkweg in Amsterdam. The Turkey-born, New York–based dance-pop artist pours dry humor and biting observations into beats that immediately pull you to the dancefloor. Classically trained at the piano and armed with a sharp pen, she builds tight hooks around small scenes from everyday life and turns them into club choruses with a wink. In 2022 she broke through with “Gaslight,” a housey earworm with a satirical undertone that set her tone: direct, playful and incisive.

Live she shifts from rave edges to glossy pop, with shimmering synths and drums that stay punchy. Tracks like “Bellydancing,” “Madeline” and “Boys Ain’t Shit” show how she pairs danceability with stories that sting. On her debut mixtape Superlame (2025) she dives into excess, break-ups, dates gone wrong and emotional spirals—material that on stage swings between bravado and vulnerability. Expect a set where euphoria and a dose of perspective alternate, with plenty of angular rhythms and singalong hooks to carry the crowd along.
