Info
The The Hague rap collective De Kraaien will play Metropool, Hengelo on 2 May 2026. Around frontman and MC Prins Clit in Paanham the collective has built its own world of crow masks, hard beats and rap in The Hague dialect. Since the early 2010s they have moved between hip-hop and the electronics of dubstep, rave and grime. Fast tempos, thumping bass and sing-along choruses form the backbone of their live set.
De Kraaien work with direct lyrics and absurd humour, often playing with caricature and self-mockery. A track like “Ik vind je lekker” set their tone: bold, danceable and blunt. Onstage they carry that line through visually with a kind of urban carnival: masked members, high energy and a rhythm that propels the room.
For Metropool they bring their hybrid approach: raw Dutch-language rap lines, hooks that stick and productions that owe as much to hip-hop tradition as to the nightlife. No frills, but a compact set driven by tempo, call-and-response and that distinctive The Hague accent. Hengelo will get De Kraaien as you know them: celebratory, sharp and ready for the dancefloor.
