The Hindley Street Country Club

On 29 April 2026 Hindley Street Country Club (HSCC) will perform at Poppodium Effenaar in Eindhoven. This Australian collective around bassist and producer Constantine Delo has worked since 2017 with a rotating lineup of vocalists and studio musicians. What began as live-in-studio video recordings has evolved into a stage format in which the band brings the craftsmanship of a session group to the concert hall.

HSCC does not perform a tribute to a single name, but draws from pop, rock, soul and funk, with familiar songs from the 1970s, ’80s and ’90s, supplemented by more recent titles. Expect tight pop-soul grooves, melodic guitars and warm keyboards, sometimes enhanced by horns. The arrangements stay close to the original structure when that works, or receive a subtle reworking when there is room for a different colour or dynamic. With the rotating vocalists the tone shifts from song to song: from soulful ballad to driving funk or radio-friendly pop, always with a focus on timing and ensemble playing.

Live, HSCC translates its studio approach into a transparent, direct sound in which the rhythm section, keyboards and guitar lay the foundation for the vocals. An evening for lovers of well-known songs who want to hear how an experienced studio collective brings them to life with care and energy.
