Info

On 9 March 2026, PLK is scheduled to perform at Melkweg in Amsterdam. The Parisian rapper, born in 1997 as Mathieu Pruski, built his identity at the crossroads of his Polish and Corsican roots; his stage name refers to “Polak.” He began writing lyrics at an early age and found an initial audience through the collective Panama Bende. With the mixtapes Ténébreux and Platinum he stepped out of the shadows; the album Polak (2018) put him on the map more broadly, and Enna (2020) confirmed his artistic direction.

PLK moves between raw street energy and melodic, more introspective hooks. Trap and UK drill color his rhythms, while he also incorporates the sensitivity of the French chanson. In his catalogue, direct verses collide with refrains that stick in the mind, delivered with a flow that remains tight without embellishment. Collaborations with the likes of Nekfeu, Niska, Maes and Hamza demonstrate his connection to the scene, yet his trajectory stays coherent and personal. On stage, that mix translates into a set that shifts between power and assurance, with tracks that carry the audience while still revealing the person behind the mic.
