Cro-Mags

On 14 June 2026 Cro-Mags will play at Cpunt Poppodium in Hoofddorp. The New York band has stood since the 1980s for a direct, physical hardcore sound that makes punk and thrash collide. Best known for The Age of Quarrel (1986), they deliver furious riffs, rapid tempo changes and compact songs centred on tight interplay and raw vocals. Live it’s straightforward: short arcs of tension, breaks that provoke movement, and choruses made for shouting along without frills.

Expect a set that mixes early classics with recent material, with an emphasis on energy and rhythm. The bass grooves and angular guitar lines keep the momentum, while the drums constantly push things forward. Cro-Mags play hardcore as it was meant to be: direct, tight and no-nonsense, with just enough melody to stick in your head.
