Katarsis

On 3 March 2026 Katarsis performs at Melkweg in Amsterdam. The Lithuanian act moves between rap, pop and electronic music, with voice and lyrics serving as a constant guide. Tracks are built on hip-hop rhythms, featuring sung choruses and atmospheric synth layers; often delivered in Lithuanian and rooted in observations of everyday life. What appears online as standalone singles and collaborations takes on a clear shape live: compact arrangements, a focus on interpretation and an intimate connection with the audience.

On stage Katarsis shifts from melodic hooks to more introspective passages. The beats maintain the momentum, with the vocals front and center. The set translates the studio work into a hybrid of urban pop and electronic textures, leaving room for nuance and tension. Katarsis developed within the home scene through a series of releases and performances and has also appeared at international events around the Eurovision circuit. That blend of experience and curiosity is evident in the Amsterdam set as well.
