The Castellows

On 10 July 2026 The Castellows are at the Melkweg in Amsterdam. The trio of sisters from southwest Georgia moved to Nashville after their homemade covers and original songs were picked up online. There they developed a sound that leans on neo-traditional country, nourished by folk and bluegrass. Central to their music are tight three-part harmonies, acoustic guitars and occasional electric touches that give the songs more space, with a hint of Americana.

Their debut EP A Little Goes a Long Way was released in 2024 on Warner Music Nashville. Since then the trio has been active across the American country circuit, from support slots to festivals, honing their set around stories of rural life, family bonds and the southern horizon.

At the Melkweg the sisters bring exactly that to the stage: precise vocal harmonies, crisp guitar work and compactly written songs that switch between tender storytelling and more forceful passages. Expect material from the EP along with new work that further refines their direction.
