Zuco 103

Zuco 103 brings a set that showcases their blend of Brazilian rhythms, jazz and electronics. Frontwoman Lilian Vieira sings in Portuguese, supported by Stefan Schmid on keys and Stefan Kruger on drums. Their sound moves from samba and bossa to funk and broken beat, with drum'n'bass accents, dub hues and club textures. Repertoire from albums such as Outro Lado, Tales of High Fever, One Down One Up and After the Carnaval resurfaces in the new material, alongside versions and remixes that gain an extra layer in live performance.

On stage it remains danceable, with room for improvisation and tight arrangements drawn from jazz. The trio formed in Amsterdam in the 1990s, emerging from the Rec.a project, and has since been building bridges between scenes and continents. The set stacks layered grooves—synth lines, percussive drum patterns and compact hooks. The three operate on the border between stage and club, between tradition and contemporary production.

On 25 April 2026 at SPOT/De Oosterpoort, Groningen, Zuco 103 condenses that hybrid approach into a live show focused on rhythm, interplay and detail.
