Midnight Til Morning

On 17 May 2026 Midnight Til Morning will perform at SPOT/De Oosterpoort in Groningen. The quartet was formed in front of the cameras for the Netflix series Building the Band, where four soloists met and decided to carry on as a group. Shane Appell, Zach Newbould, Conor Smith and Mason Watts hail from the US and Australia but sound like a single unit: four voices in tight harmonies, with a fondness for melodic pop and pop-rock.

During the show the collective alternates between intimate ballads and mid-tempo tracks with choruses that linger. Their joint start came through carefully chosen covers — from “Ocean Eyes” to “Iris,” “The Reason” and “Circles,” following an initial meeting around “Higher Power” — and has evolved into original material that works live without losing the vocal layers and melodies that define their signature. Since 2024 they have been developing that sound with Chugg Music: a compact, vocal pop set in which four personalities complement each other and the harmonies take center stage.
