Cattle Decapitation: 30 Years of Inhumanity

Cattle Decapitation marks three decades with 30 Years of Inhumanity on April 28, 2026 at The Arrowhead in Calgary. Born in San Diego in the late 90s, the band drives a sharp deathgrind sound that flips between whiplash riffs, fractured rhythms and Travis Ryan’s shifting register, from deep growls to rasped barks and spoken snarls. On stage, they thread tracks from Monolith of Inhumanity, The Anthropocene Extinction, Death Atlas and Terrasite into a set that swings from frantic velocity to colder, atmospheric passages, carried by themes of ecological collapse and human excess.

Brujeria brings their Spanish-language deathgrind and rough-cut grooves, channeling compact riffs, rolling low end and chant-like hooks. It’s lean, direct and built for collective roar-alongs, with a dark edge that keeps the pressure on.

No Cure opens the evening from the straight edge side of metallic hardcore, all tension and bite. Expect tight, down-tuned riffs, barked vocals and breaks that hit fast without lingering.

Knoll pushes the needle into dissonant territories, fusing grind, death metal and noise. Sudden tempo shifts, cavernous vocals and sheets of feedback set a dense, abrasive backdrop that primes the room before the headliner takes over.
