Info
On July 18, 2026, Ottawa Bluesfest lands at LeBreton Flats, Ottawa with a bill that swings from dancehall to pop and R&B. Shaggy brings his gravel-toned deejay flow and Jamaica-to-New York groove, moving from early 90s dancehall cuts to crossover hits like It Wasn’t Me and Angel, and the reggae-pop blend he has refined through collaborations and recent records. Gwen Stefani taps her No Doubt roots and solo instincts, shifting between ska-tinged hooks, synth-pop beats and California storytelling, from the punch of Love. Angel. Music. Baby. to later pop turns. Atlanta’s Mariah the Scientist leans into slow-burn R&B, intimate melodies and minimal, synth-washed textures, carried by candid lyrics and a pop sense that sits close to the mic.
Aqyila focuses on warm harmonies and mid‑tempo R&B with soul and gospel shades, a sound shaped from early freestyles and honed on her EP For the Better. Between Quebec and France, Billie du Page signs plainspoken pop about relationships and self-assertion, moving from airy ballads to dance-leaning tracks, in English and French. Guitar-forward energy comes with Grace Bowers & The Hodge Podge: blues-rock and soul grooves built for jam sections and tight group interplay.
