Info
Ottawa Bluesfest gathers The Lumineers, bbno$, Hazlett and Leif Vollebekk at LeBreton Flats in Ottawa on July 12, 2026.
The Lumineers bring their stripped-back folk built on acoustic guitar, piano and close harmonies. Led by Wesley Schultz, the band moves from hushed storytelling to stomping choruses, with songs like Ho Hey alongside newer material that leans on simple melodies and communal singalongs.
bbno$ lands with internet-bred rap that plays it light and catchy. Minimal trap beats, clipped flows and hooks that loop in your head define his set, from the breakout Lalala with Y2K to recent tracks blending playful bars and melodic turns.
Hazlett drifts toward an intimate indie folk framed by soft guitars, subtle electronics and a voice pushed upfront. Between Thundering Hopes and Bloom Mountain, his songs trace doubt and nostalgia, balancing hushed ballads with cleaner pop contours.
Leif Vollebekk, Ottawa-born and based in Montreal, navigates between folk and soul shades. Piano and guitar carry songs that circle small details and open spaces, echoing the free, inward tone of Twin Solitude and New Ways, with a focus on feel, phrasing and quiet dynamics.
