Dar Disku is a duo and record label founded by Mazen Almaskati and Vish M. Based in the United Kingdom, the duo offers a distinctive sound: reinventing gems from the Middle East and beyond for today’s club. Forgotten rarities, Arabic disco grooves, driving house, influences from North Africa, the Middle East and South Asia: an erudite and instinctive selection. Their label, releases and appearances at Fabric and Glastonbury create a dialogue between tradition, Arabic disco and contemporary electronic culture.
