Enrico Macias will be on stage on 6 June 2026 at the Casino de Sanary in Sanary‑sur‑Mer. Since the 1960s he has woven a language all his own between French chanson and Mediterranean melodies, driven by the guitar and Arab‑Andalusian influences. Born in Constantine and trained under Cheikh Raymond, he has made exile, memory and the coexistence of cultures central themes, popularized from “Adieu mon pays.” In concert he presents a repertoire that alternates ballads and chaâbi‑inspired rhythms, with those refrains that audiences spontaneously take up. Between anecdotes and melodies tinged with the colours of the South, the evening is built around a continuous thread of stories and songs that connect shores and generations. It is an opportunity to hear again a voice that has crossed eras, in a simple, direct format faithful to his art of fostering a dialogue between France and the Mediterranean.
