For more than two decades Dälek has been pushing the edges of hip‑hop forward: noise, shoegaze and political bite meet dense atmospheres, heavy beats and uncompromising lyrics. The duo of MC Dälek (lyrics, production) and Mike Mare (production, multi‑instrumentalist) returns in 2026 with a new album that goes back to the core — stripped down, direct, built around an MPC 3000, processed guitars and the palpable chemistry between the two. Every sound has a purpose; there is no filler.

On 14 May 2026 at Neue Zukunft in Berlin, Dälek will bring this return to the stage. Live, layers of distortion, drones and rhythm shape the landscape while MC Dälek’s voice sits up front—clear and weighty. The material channels the roughness of their early recordings while propelling the sound forward—minimal in form, grand in detail.
