Info
Tide Lines bring their blend of folk-tinged rock and melodic pop sensibility to Hansa39 in Munich on 17 April 2026. Rooted in the Scottish Highlands and based in Glasgow, the band led by singer and guitarist Robert Robertson bridges guitar hooks, warm keyboards and subtle Celtic hues. Their songs evoke images of coastlines, small towns and wide-open landscapes; the lyrics are predominantly in English, with occasional flashes of Gaelic.
In 2025 their fourth album, Glasgow Love Story, was released on the band’s own label, reaching No. 1 in Scotland and No. 11 on the official UK album charts — their best UK result to date and already their third Scottish No. 1 album. In Munich the group will build on that success, drawing on new material as well as songs from Dreams We Never Lost, Eye of the Storm and An Ocean Full of Islands. Tide Lines still rehearse in a converted church on the Isle of Mull; the changeable weather and the Hebridean landscape resonate in their sound. Live, they favour direct melodies, multi-part choruses and a grounded rock foundation that brings listeners close to the band’s stories.
