Infected Mushroom

Infected Mushroom returns to the decks for a DJ set on June 28, 2026 at the Midway Music Hall in Edmonton. Formed by Erez Eisen and Amit “Duvdev” Duvdevani, the duo has shaped since the late ’90s a psytrance that is at once tense and melodic, marked by rhythmic breaks, forceful basslines and finely honed melodies, with detours into rock, pop and more cinematic textures. In club contexts they favor tight sequencing, the play of tension-and-release and dynamic breaks, crafting a mix that preserves psy’s DNA while broadening its spectrum.

The set draws on their key eras, from early milestones like The Gathering, Classical Mushroom and BP Empire to the more hybrid outlook of Converting Vegetarians and IM the Supervisor, then toward the more electro and industrial territories of Vicious Delicious, Legend of the Black Shawarma and Army of Mushrooms, and on to Converting Vegetarians II, Return to the Sauce and Head of NASA and the 2 Amish Boys. It’s an opportunity to follow, behind the decks, the evolution of a sonic signature that balances dancefloor effectiveness with a keen sense of detail.
