Wolf Parade

Wolf Parade returns to Vancouver on November 15, 2026 at The Pearl. Formed in Montreal in 2003, the band centers on Spencer Krug, Dan Boeckner and Arlen Thompson, a three-way balance between shared vocals, jagged guitars, saturated keyboards and tense rhythms. On stage, their catalogue opens wide: the angular indie rock and post-punk edges of Apologies to the Queen Mary, the labyrinthine turns of At Mount Zoomer, the more direct push of Expo 86, then the piano- and synth-led writing of Cry Cry Cry and the electronic textures that shape Thin Mind. Krug’s keys lean into looping motifs, Boeckner’s guitar cuts through with sharp hooks, and Thompson’s drumming keeps the pulse insistent. Older tracks get tightened or stretched without losing their nerve, while recent songs deepen the synth-driven side.
