Hudson Freeman - EU/UK Tour 2026

On 25 August 2026, Hudson Freeman will play at the Yuca in Cologne. Raised between the suburbs of Dallas and the Kingdom of Eswatini in an evangelical missionary family, he early on found in songwriting a way to distance himself from his upbringing. During his college years in Springfield, Missouri, he self-released his debut EP A Man, One Day in 2016, positioning himself within a DIY-minded indie-folk scene. His influences range from Sufjan Stevens and Bon Iver to Pedro the Lion; he describes his approach as lofi folk: intimate folk sketches, restrained indie-rock flair, and home recordings with a deliberately raw grain.

The 2021 album I AM All the Ages I’ve Ever Been marked a new phase in which faith, doubt, fragile friendships, and the search for stability shape his songs. After moving to Brooklyn following the pandemic, he continued that thread, most recently with is a folk artist (spring 2025), which places belonging and digital unease at its center. He has just released the track if you know Me, accompanied by a cover of Wild Horses. In Cologne, Freeman will bring this pared-down, personal mode of storytelling to the stage — part of his EU/UK tour 2026.
