Massive Attack

Massive Attack will play on 8 June 2026 at Forest National in Forest (Belgium). Emerging from Bristol’s sound system scene in the late 1980s, Robert “3D” Del Naja, Grant “Daddy G” Marshall and Andrew “Mushroom” Vowles built on the legacy of The Wild Bunch. From the early 1990s the group developed its own blend of hip hop, soul, dub and electronic music, often linked to the rise of British trip hop. Blue Lines (1991), followed by Protection (1994) and Mezzanine (1998), set the tone: slowed tempos, powerful basslines, dark textures and frequent guest vocals from soul, rock or reggae backgrounds. After 100th Window (2003) and Heligoland (2010), Massive Attack continued to work with changing collaborations, occasional releases and a live approach in which visuals and sound are closely integrated. On stage the band layers its catalogue, from early tracks to more recent work, with attention to detail, rhythm and atmosphere.
