Info
Angra returns to Paris to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Holy Land. On 23 September 2026 at L'Olympia, the Brazilian band will perform the album in its entirety, then follow with a second set traversing the rest of their discography. Known for melodic power metal infused with progressive elements and Brazilian rhythms, Angra brings this pivotal 1996 record back to the forefront — a work that combined symphonic arrangements, percussion and lightning‑fast guitars.
This date will also be a tribute to Andre Matos, the band's original voice, who passed away in 2019. For the occasion, Kiko Loureiro will make a brief return to guitar alongside Rafael Bittencourt, Felipe Andreoli, Bruno Valverde and Marcelo Barbosa. The Parisian audience will also discover the new singer, Alirio Netto, seen with Queen Extravaganza, who fits within the band's vocal lineage while bringing his own colour.
From their notable beginnings in France in the mid‑1990s to their European tours, Angra has built a lasting bond with the French audience. At L'Olympia, this two‑act evening will blend memory and the present, with a faithful performance of Holy Land followed by a selection of key tracks drawn from three decades of Brazilian metal.
