Sellig returns with "Episode 6", a new chapter written and directed by him, in which he turns his gaze once more on everyday life. He probes those scenes we take for simple and uncovers their knots with a quiet precision. He recounts his apprenticeship in the kitchen—hardly glamorous and rather physical—where technique, mishaps and pride crash into one another. He also lingers on his "fifty-three‑ish" phase, that in‑between age that is neither your fifties nor your sixties, and everything that gets upended when you reach it. And he revisits an old‑fashioned Christmas, with family, its rituals, its slip‑ups and those memories that resurface when you least expect them. You’ll find his direct voice and characters sketched from life, straddling autofiction and portraits of close relations, in stories shaped to everyday life.
