Black Loops lands at Village Studios in Vancouver on March 29, 2026. Italian-born and now based in Berlin, Riccardo Paffetti has shaped his Black Loops project around a supple house and deep house palette steeped in soul, funk and 90s cues. Melodic basslines carry the groove, clipped vocal samples add bite, and the drum work leans into garage swing and broken beat without losing focus. Across releases for Toy Tonics, Freerange Records, Shall Not Fade and Pets Recordings, he’s refined tracks that move with warmth and precision, built to translate from the studio to a packed floor. As a DJ, he keeps the dialogue with dancers open, letting percussive pressure and subtle harmonics do the work rather than chasing the peak too fast.

Support comes from Joel Armstrong and Sayang, setting the room with selections that frame the night and clear space for Black Loops’ signature glide. A straight-ahead house bill with attention to groove, detail and flow, right where Vancouver likes it: close, direct and running on feel.
