Info
Caamp brings their folk and indie folk to Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium in Edmonton on August 15, 2026. Formed in Athens, Ohio, around singer-guitarist Taylor Meier and banjo-guitarist Evan Westfall, the project has grown into a flexible live outfit. On stage, the core stays the same: Meier’s deep vocal, acoustic guitars and banjo up front, close harmonies, and steady rhythms that nod to country and Americana.
The set moves between unhurried ballads and more driving tunes, drawing across their catalog: the self-titled debut, the Boys (Side A) EP, By and By, the live document from Newport Music Hall, and Lavender Days. Arrangements shift from a stripped duo feel to a fuller group without losing the lean, acoustic grain that defines their sound. Songs are carried by melodies and harmonies built for a room, with space for dynamics and small details—a brushed snare, a banjo figure, a hush that lifts into a chorus. It’s a show that tracks the arc of Caamp’s journey while keeping the focus on voice, strings, and the warmth of plainspoken songwriting.
