Live, formed in York, Pennsylvania, built its identity around Ed Kowalczyk’s voice and a songwriting that blends post‑grunge energy with reflective themes. From Mental Jewelry to Throwing Copper, then Secret Samadhi and The Distance to Here, the band shaped a catalog of direct, melodic tracks carried by ringing guitars. After a period of changes and a return to the original frontman, Live continues to tour with a repertoire that bridges its 90s roots and current momentum.
Born in Boston around Canadian singer‑guitarist Ian Thornley, Big Wreck mixes hard rock weight with progressive turns and a bluesy grain. The first wave set the tone with In Loving Memory Of… and The Pleasure and the Greed; the comeback since 2010 pushed textures further with Albatross, Ghosts, Grace Street, …But For the Sun, plus a run of numbered EPs refining those layered riffs and fluid structures.
