Info
Steve Earle brings 51 Years of Songs & Stories to the Molson Canadian Centre in Moncton on 26 June 2026. A cornerstone of American songwriting since the 1970s, the Texas-born, Nashville-honed artist moves with ease between country, folk, rock and bluegrass, always with a writer’s eye for people, places and the small turns that shape a life. This solo evening leans on the essentials: guitar, harmonica and a catalogue that has traced the road from Guitar Town through the electric bite of Copperhead Road, the acoustic turn of Train a Comin’, the tight songwriting of El Corazon and the bluegrass detour of The Mountain with the Del McCoury Band.
Expect songs that map out his decades on the move, alongside stories about how they were written and who they were written for. Earle revisits the political charge of Jerusalem and The Revolution Starts… Now, nods to mentors on Townes and Jerry Jeff, and unpacks the characters and places that run through his work, from Texas bars to New York sidewalks. It’s an unfiltered tour of his songbook, shaped by a craftsman who treats each track like a short story and lets the narrative do the lifting.
