LIVE brings the Like A Rollin Thunder Tour to the Canadian Tire Centre in Ottawa on March 7, 2026. Formed in York, Pennsylvania, the band sharpened a guitar-forward alternative rock sound in the 90s with Ed Kowalczyk at the mic, balancing drive and introspection. On stage, they lean into that dynamic with songs spanning Mental Jewelry, Throwing Copper, Secret Samadhi and The Distance to Here, alongside later chapters, carried by Kowalczyk’s phrasing and a tight, melodic punch.
Led by singer-guitarist Ian Thornley, Big Wreck navigates between heavy riffing, blues shades and progressive turns. From In Loving Memory Of... to Albatross, Ghosts, Grace Street and the recent 7.x EPs, their set favors detailed guitar work, shifting dynamics and clear, grounded melodies that build without excess.
Econoline Crush brings a colder edge, blending industrial textures with alternative rock around Trevor Hurst’s voice. Affliction and The Devil You Know laid the groundwork for a mix of saturated guitars, programmed pulses and direct hooks, refined on Brand New History, Ignite and 2023’s When the Devil Drives. The result is a dark-toned energy that slots neatly into this bill.
