Frei.Wild - Immer unter Feuer

Frei.Wild will perform as part of their "Immer unter Feuer" (Always Under Fire) tour on May 9, 2026, at the Westfalenhalle in Dortmund. Since 2001, the German-language rock band from Brixen in South Tyrol has stood for a mix of melodic hard rock, punk influences and chorally delivered refrains. The quartet led by singer and guitarist Philipp Burger — with Jonas Notdurfter on guitar, Jochen Gargitter on bass and Christian Fohrer on drums — combines angular riffs with clear hooks and direct songwriting.

Lyrically, their songs deal with background, everyday life, friendship and social issues—topics that repeatedly spark debate. Live, Frei.Wild rely on powerful electric guitars and quiet acoustic moments; these contrasts also shape albums such as Feinde deiner Feinde, Still, Opposition, Rivalen und Rebellen, Still II and Wirklichkeitsverlust. In Dortmund, the concert will bring together different phases of the band’s work and probe the range between high-energy anthems and stripped-down passages—closely reflecting the band’s approach and rooted in the German rock scene.
