Amber Run - Acoustic Tour 2026

Amber Run are bringing their songs to Cologne in acoustic form in 2026. On 5 March 2026 at the Kulturkirche Köln, the trio from Nottingham will strip their pieces back to the essentials: voice, guitar, keys, and subtle dynamics. Since the early 2010s Joe Keogh, Tom Sperring and Henry Wyeth have shaped their sound between indie rock and British alternative pop, with melodic guitars, warm keyboard textures and tightly arranged harmony vocals. Gaining recognition via BBC Introducing, the band initially released several EPs before their debut 5am (2015), followed by For A Moment, I Was Lost (2017) with darker hues, Philophobia (2019) exploring closeness and vulnerability, and How To Be Human (2023), rendered more direct and even more intimate. Live, Amber Run span the range from quiet, atmospheric ballads to more angular passages — in this acoustic format with greater space and a stronger focus on lyrics, timbre and interplay. In the Kulturkirche Köln this creates an intimate setting that reveals the songs from a different angle.
