The BossHoss - Summer 2026

On July 22, 2026, The BossHoss bring their bone‑dry country‑rock brew to the amphitheater in Trier. Since 2004 Alec Völkel and Sascha Vollmer, together with their band, have been shaping a mix of Nashville twang, rock’n’roll drive and touches of punk—musically and visually somewhere between metropolis and Western. They first became known for idiosyncratic cover versions that translate pop and hip‑hop hooks into creaking guitars and driving rhythms—the DNA of their debut Internashville Urban Hymns (2005). After that, their own songs moved into the spotlight: Stallion Battalion (2007) and Do or Die (2009), the stripped‑down reinterpretations on Low Voltage (2010), then Liberty of Action (2011) and Flames of Fame (2013), which brought their live energy to larger stages. Later, Dos Bros (2015) and Black Is Beautiful (2018) opened the sound up to poppier arrangements. With Electric Horsemen (2023) they intensified the union of modern country aesthetics and electric rock. In Trier they condense all of this into a compact show of punchy riffs, multi‑part vocals and clear hooks—direct, powerful, without frills.
