Romano - Live 2026

Romano brings his mix of German pop, rap and electronic textures to Nuremberg: on 21 March 2026 at Club Stereo. Behind the name is Roman Geike from Berlin‑Köpenick, shaped by the aesthetics of the former GDR and the margins of the capital. In the mid‑2010s he began performing as Romano, with visually striking clips that established him as a distinct voice in German‑language pop. His debut “Jenseits von Köpenick” (2015) bundles neighborhood tales, everyday observations and character studies over productions that range from hip‑hop grooves to choruses close to Schlager and synth‑pop. “Copyshop” (2017) builds on this approach, addressing the world of work, offices and standardized spaces—carried by a very clearly articulated, often spoken‑sung delivery. Live, Romano has been moving between club shows and festivals for years, playing with contrasts in appearance, pop references and a broadly mixed audience. In Nuremberg he will present his repertoire of rap sections, catchy hooklines and stories from Berlin and its surroundings, held together by a perspective on social upheaval.
