Curtis Stigers brings Songs From My Kitchen Live 2026 to northern Germany: on 20 June 2026 at Music Hall Worpswede e.V. in Worpswede. The singer, songwriter and tenor saxophonist from Boise, Idaho first became known in the early ’90s with “I Wonder Why” and over the years shifted his focus from pop-soul toward jazz. Shaped by long nights in New York clubs, he combines narrative singing, a warm tenor sax sound and a fondness for strong songs — from ballads and standards to carefully reimagined pop numbers.

On stage, Stigers blends intimate arrangements with plenty of room for phrasing, subtle blues and rock inflections, his own songs and selected covers. Albums such as Secret Heart, You Inspire Me, Lost in Dreams and the Sinatra project One More for the Road mark this trajectory. He also wrote “This Life,” the title song for the series Sons of Anarchy. In Worpswede he will present a set that blends jazz sensibility and songwriting, giving equal space to his three roles — singer, saxophonist, songwriter.
