Info
Joost Klein brings his blend of rap, pop and electronic sounds to Hamburg: on 2 June 2026 he will take the stage at Sporthalle Hamburg. The artist from the Dutch province of Friesland first made a name for himself as EenhoornJoost with absurd online videos before turning his full attention to music. His early tracks circulated online, sitting at the intersection of Dutch rap, Eurodance touches and the energy of rave and happy hardcore — a style that quickly carried him from clubs to festivals in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany.
On stage, Joost relies on fast tempos, catchy hooks and abrupt shifts in mood that make room for quieter, more introspective passages. His lyrics move between humour and nostalgia, while also addressing personal themes such as grief and identity. Collaborations with artists from the Dutch hip‑hop and electronic scenes have been part of his development, as have regular tours in the German‑speaking region. In 2024 he represented the Netherlands at the Eurovision Song Contest with “Europapa,” further opening his project to a wider audience. In Hamburg, expect an evening that brings together club‑ready beats, heavy basslines and pop‑driven choruses — with Dutch‑language bars, punchy refrains and moments that slow the pace without losing tension.
