Frei.Wild - Immer unter Feuer

On 13 May 2026 Frei.Wild will stop at the Barclaycard Arena in Hamburg as part of the "Immer unter Feuer" (Always Under Fire) tour. Since 2001 the quartet from Brixen in South Tyrol has represented German rock with a melodic hard-rock drive, a punky edge and choruses that are carried collectively. Frontman and guitarist Philipp Burger, Jonas Notdurfter on guitar, Jochen Gargitter on bass and Christian Fohrer on drums rely live on powerful riffs, tight group vocals and clearly structured hooks that oscillate between electric force and stripped-down acoustic passages.

The lyrics remain in German and deal with origins, everyday life, friendship and social frictions. On the setlist, tracks from phases such as Feinde deiner Feinde (Enemies of Your Enemies), the acoustic Still (Still), Opposition, Rivalen und Rebellen (Rivals and Rebels) or Wirklichkeitsverlust (Loss of Reality) meet current material. The core remains: compact songs, played straight, with plenty of space for sing-along moments and the interplay between harsh edges and quiet breathing spaces. In Hamburg the band will bring their typical live sound to the big stage — tight, physical and without unnecessary ornamentation, driven by a sense of collective identity that for years has carried a loyal audience through Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
