Band-Maid

BAND-MAID arrives at the Bataclan in Paris on June 9, 2026. Formed in 2013 in Tokyo, the five-piece brings together Miku Kobato and Saiki Atsumi on vocals, Kanami Tōno on guitar, MISA on bass and Akane Hirose on drums. Their trademark is the contrast between an aesthetic inspired by maid cafés and a sound carved from hard rock with touches of modern metal: sharp riffs, a prominent bass, dry and precise drums, and vocal lines that alternate between melody and tension.

In the studio as on stage, the band follows a clear trajectory, from their first mini-album Maid in Japan to Unseen World, passing through Brand New Maid, Just Bring It, World Domination, Conqueror and the EP Unleash. After contributing several anime theme songs in 2025, BAND-MAID released the EP SCOOOOOP and in 2026 is touring the world with a stop in Paris. On stage, the dynamic rests on the interplay of the guitars, a tight rhythm section and instantly catchy choruses inherited from J-rock, driven by a complementary vocal duo. It’s an opportunity to witness live the no-frills efficiency of a band seasoned on Japanese, European and North American stages.
