On 12 March 2026 at 6MIC in Aix-en-Provence, Émile Londonien unfolds its jazz in motion, nourished by broken beat and house. The Strasbourg trio, formed within the Omezis collective, continues the momentum of its album Inwards (2024) with Inwards Extended, released on 30 January 2026 and expanded by four tracks. The project extends the dialogue begun with the British scene, nodding to artists like Ashley Henry, CHERISE and Kazy Lambist, while inviting close collaborators from the French scene such as Laurent Bardainne, Jowee Omicil and Léon Phal. On stage, collective compositions and improvisations intertwine, yielding a set in which the music’s jazz DNA brushes up against club and R&B influences without losing clarity.
Astels opens the other facet of the evening: the duo formed by Théo, a multi-instrumentalist and producer, and Camille on vocals, carves out a path between pop, electro-funk and R&B. After an EP in 2024 and a debut album, The Meeting, released in April 2025, their tracks reveal a taste for laid-back grooves and direct melodies. Discovered through viral jams and sharpened on stage between Paris, London and several festivals, they cultivate an independent approach from studio to live. At 6MIC, Camille’s voice and Théo’s playing align for songs that are at times intimate, at times danceable.
