Info
Shenandoah bring their Muscle Shoals roots to Moncton on April 12, 2026, at the Molson Canadian Centre. Formed in the mid-80s around Marty Raybon’s lead vocals and Mike McGuire’s drums, the Alabama group shaped a neotraditional country sound threaded with gospel-leaning harmonies and straight-ahead storytelling about small-town lives. From the self-titled debut and The Road Not Taken to Extra Mile, they built a catalogue that moves between mid-tempo drive and acoustic ballads. After Long Time Comin’ and Under the Kudzu, the band leaned into a more contemporary edge with In the Vicinity of the Heart, then circled back with the country-gospel tilt of Good News Travels Fast and the collaborative spirit of Every Road, keeping their narrative focus intact.
Sharing the bill, Mark Wills walks a line between intimate ballads and contemporary tempos. Raised in Blue Ridge, Georgia, he moved to Nashville in the mid-90s, signed to Mercury Nashville and released his debut in 1996. Wish You Were Here and Permanently set the tone for direct, everyday storytelling, followed by Loving Every Minute and And the Crowd Goes Wild. A steady presence on the American country circuit, he continued with Familiar Stranger and Looking for America, and joined the Grand Ole Opry in 2019.
