David Hallyday

David Hallyday has been drawing a French pop-rock line for more than thirty years, embracing his heritage while asserting a signature all his own. A drummer and composer since his teens, he first emerged with True Cool and went on to release Rock’n’Heart and On the Road. He is responsible for landmark songs such as Tu ne m’as pas laissé le temps, Pour toi and Le temps d’une vie. As a singer-songwriter often called on to write for others, he favors introspective lyrics, clear melodies and a sound that blends rock tension with a knack for the hook.
