On 20 June 2026, Carl Cox takes command of the Château de Chantilly in Chantilly. A British DJ and producer, he first drew attention in the late 1980s on the acid house and rave scene, before playing a central role in the development of techno and house across Europe. Born in Oldham and raised in south London, he honed his style in warehouses and clubs, developing a continuous-mix approach that favors extended durations, blending techno, house, tech house and echoes of the rave era.
His sets have shaped an aesthetic of flow that is echoed on his studio albums At the End of the Cliché (1996), Second Sign (2005), All Roads Lead to the Dancefloor (2011) and Electronic Generations (2022). Between Ibiza residencies, club tours and international festivals, Carl Cox has for decades moved between European, American and Australian scenes, pursuing collaborations and projects that put the dancefloor at the center of his practice.
Announced for an Ibiza residency in 2026, this marks a rare appearance in Île-de-France. At the Château de Chantilly, the event will put his track selections front and center, balancing rhythmic tension, long progressions and his technique of building energy through successive layers. A date to experience his approach to mixing up close, in a historic setting.
