Mass Hysteria

Mass Hysteria will be performing at Le Forum in Vauréal on 12 November 2026. Formed in the early 1990s in Paris, the band has shaped a hybrid sound in which heavy guitars, groove and industrial influences interlock with electronic textures. French-language vocals, a chanted delivery, and choruses carried by the collective: lyrics that address social tensions, collective spirit and contemporary disillusionment.

From their beginnings with Le bien-être et la paix (1997) to Contraddiction (1999), their direction became clearer, then opened up to more rock formats with De cercle en cercle (2001) and the self-titled album (2005). The approach grew harder with Une somme de détails (2007) and Failles (2009), before asserting itself in a modern, compact and direct form of metal on L’Armée des ombres (2012), Matière noire (2015) and Maniac (2018). On stage, the machinery relies on tight riffs, emphatic rhythms and choruses designed to be sung along.

At Le Forum, Mass Hysteria will deploy this blend of tension and precision, between their alternative heritage and their current sound, for a set focused on collective impact and cohesion.
