Info
Barns Courtney arrives at Les Étoiles on 31 May 2026. Having come through the London band Dive Bella Dive before going solo, the Englishman, born in Aylesbury and partly raised in Seattle, forged his path between early signings, long-running contracts and odd jobs. He was noticed in film when Bradley Cooper chose his voice for the movie Burnt, and made his mark with "Glitter & Gold," a track cobbled together in an abandoned care home—filing folders used as percussion—that found an audience well beyond indie circles.
His ground is alternative rock coloured by blues and folk, carried by a rough-edged voice, massive riffs and choruses that stick. "Fire" and "Glitter & Gold" have circulated on soundtracks for films, series and games, while his albums The Attractions of Youth (2017) and 404 (2019) establish a direct writing style, balancing electric tension with more stripped-back moments. On stage, Courtney delivers pure energy, solo or with a band, with a presence that gets straight to the point. Now with the indie label Avenue A, he opens a new chapter without renouncing the instinct of his beginnings. See you on 31 May 2026 at Les Étoiles, Paris, to experience that blend of nervous guitars and anthems built for the stage.
