DISCOSTORMY: Raw Queen invite Admin

For the next DiscoStormy, on Saturday 31 January 2026 at 10:59 PM, Raw Queen invites Admin to Le Djoon. An avid record digger, Admin is known for sets that blend disco, jazz, funk and boogie, delivered with a carefully curated selection. Also known for his label and the Community Disc-O’s nights, he will be appearing at Le Djoon for the first time to bring a style that sits between dance and grooves.

Based in Bristol, Admin has been collecting disco, jazz and funk for over ten years. He is the founder of the underground night Community Disc-O’s as well as a series of white‑label edits under the same name, and he appears on many disco line-ups. Passionate and always in pursuit of a refined selection, he plays vinyl only, using records unearthed from record shops and obscure releases. His sets draw on a wide palette of influences while remaining faithful to the sound system culture of his hometown. He is active on Bristol’s underground scene and regularly performs abroad.

A rising figure on the underground disco scene, Raw Queen is driven by a passion for rare groove and soulful music. A collector of disco, soul, gospel and house records, he came to prominence with his mixtapes, which have earned him invitations to play in numerous European cities. He is also the founder of DiscoStormy, a club night that has hosted artists such as Red Greg, Ge-ology, Rahaan and Mark Grusane, and is active on the soulful and dance scene.
