Wheatus with Special Guests

Wheatus brings their alt-pop rock to The Pearl in Vancouver, BC on Monday, April 13, 2026, with special guests joining the bill. Formed in the mid-90s in Northport, New York, the band is led by singer-guitarist Brendan B. Brown, whose melodic guitars, dry humor and pop instincts land somewhere between power pop and indie rock. On stage, Wheatus can swing from full-band punch to more stripped-back moments, keeping the spotlight on hooks, harmonies and the lyrics’ offbeat snapshots of everyday life.

The group broke through in 2000 with Teenage Dirtbag, followed by a sharp take on Erasure’s A Little Respect. Their path since runs through Hand Over Your Loved Ones (2003) and Too Soon Monsoon (2005) to The Valentine LP (2013), where the sound leans more acoustic without losing its tuneful core. Themes of adolescence, pop-culture nods and small-town stories thread through the catalogue. At The Pearl, they move between early singles and later cuts, played by the rotating line-up that has long defined their touring approach.
