Dayseeker brings The Pale Moonlight Tour to Winnipeg on May 20, 2026 at Burton Cummings Theatre. Formed in Orange County in 2012, the band sits between post-hardcore and metalcore, mixing melodic vocals, heavier passages and atmospheric layers. From What It Means to Be Defeated and Origin to the concept-driven Dreaming Is Sinking /// Waking Is Rising, their writing moved from classic post-hardcore toward mood and dynamics. Sleeptalk opened the door to synths, mid-tempos and an emo-pop edge, while Dark Sun pushed those darker, introspective tones further. On stage, Rory Rodriguez’s voice anchors songs that shift between tension and release without leaning on pure technique.
Northlane steps in from Sydney with a metalcore approach shaped by progressive and djent influences. Early releases Discoveries and Singularity laid the groundwork with syncopated riffs and complex structures. With Marcus Bridge’s arrival, Node and Mesmer brought more space and melody, before Alien folded in industrial and electronic textures that now thread through their modern sound. Obsidian continued that blend, balancing dense atmospheres with a solid rhythmic core.
