Info
The Paper Kites bring the If You Go There, I Hope You Find It tour to History, 1663 Queen Street East, Toronto, on May 12, 2026. Formed in Melbourne around Sam Bentley and Christina Lacy, the Australian five-piece has shaped a quiet, melodic indie folk sound built on close-knit harmonies, acoustic guitars and a taste for nocturnal textures. From the early EPs to States, the late-night drift of twelvefour, the twin releases On the Train Ride Home and On the Corner Where You Live, the collaborative Roses and the more live-in-the-room feel of At the Roadhouse, their set moves between hushed ballads and gently electric turns without losing the thread of clear, unadorned songwriting.
Canadian singer-songwriter Donovan Woods joins with the kind of intimate storytelling that has defined his path from Sarnia to Toronto and regular stints in Nashville. Rooted in folk, country and americana, his songs lean on steady guitar lines and a restrained voice that brings out the details in the writing. Albums like Hard Settle, Ain’t Troubled, Both Ways and Without People sketch scenes of daily life with calm precision, whether he’s on stage solo or with a small band.
