Two Feet: The Next Steps Tour

Two Feet brings The Next Steps Tour to Montréal on April 6, 2026, at Théâtre Beanfield. Behind the name is New York musician Bill Dess, who has carved out a sound at the crossroads of downtempo electronics, trip-hop and a stripped-back, guitar-led blues. He first drew attention in 2016 with the track Go Fuck Yourself and the EP First Steps, laying down heavy bass lines, slow tempos and near-whispered vocals. Momentum followed in 2017, extending that dark, minimal palette on stage and in the studio.

His first album, Pink (2020), pushed this blend of electronic songwriting and alternative pop with simple structures and looping motifs. Max Maco Is Dead Right? (2021) introduced a fictional alter ego to frame the songs, before Shape & Form (2022) opened toward brighter electronic textures without losing the underlying melancholy. On stage, Two Feet builds a set around expressive guitar work, measured rhythms and intimate dynamics—an approach honed in clubs and festivals across the US and Europe. Montréal gets the next step at Théâtre Beanfield, where these tracks take on a live edge.
