Les Bodin’s “Grandeur nature” will arrive on 21 February 2027 at the Parc des Expositions - Destination Angers, in Angers. The duo is restarting their signature show and diving back into the world of Maria and Christian Bodin, the mother-and-son pair who look rural France squarely in the eye, with a distinctive attention to detail and offbeat sense of humour. On stage, Maria, a strong‑willed farmer, leads the way, while Christian, a tender-hearted son who is a little behind the pace, tries to keep up. Between family squabbles, everyday schemes and situations that spiral out of control, the two characters stage a portrait of simple life, carried by sharp, finely crafted lines and a keen eye for observation.

Grandeur nature is an opportunity to rediscover the atmosphere of the farm—the gestures, sounds and moods that give their stories their flavour. After the anniversary tour, Les Bodin’s are extending the adventure and returning to Angers with this stage format tailor-made to draw the audience into their favourite playground.
