Dany Boon returns to the stage with Clown Isn’t a Profession, a new one-man show that marks his comeback after seven years away from live performance. The popular comedian and actor goes back to the format that brought him to prominence: a precise observation of everyday life, vividly drawn characters and a strong dose of self-deprecating humor. We follow him through childhood memories, behind-the-scenes moments on set and life scenes, with an eye for detail that lifts an anecdote into a shared situation. The title sets the tone: behind the joke, he questions what it means to make people laugh, the desire to get back on stage, the doubts, the small quirks of the craft and the simple joy of performing again in front of an audience.

At the Summum in Grenoble on April 4, 2027, he unfolds new material, brand-new stories and a few nods to familiar characters.
