Booder « Ah... l’école ! »

Booder returns to the stage with Ah... l’école! on 3 April 2027 at the Vendéspace in Mouilleron‑le‑Captif. With a four‑color pen in hand, he retraces his school years, from the playground to study hall, and holds the school of yesterday up against the one his son is discovering today. Between memories of friends, memorable teachers, supervisors and coach rides, he also tackles darker subjects such as school bullying and the little compromises of everyday life. A hands‑on dad—he’s been seen giving his son private lessons—these scenes feed material that is very close to real life, where homework, parent‑teacher meetings and notes in the school notebook become theatrical situations. Without nostalgia or moralizing, Booder questions what school transmits, what changes within it and what gets lost. He unfolds a gallery of characters and anecdotes with his recognizable phrasing, in a storytelling style that speaks as much to former pupils as to today’s parents.
